Care and Maintenance
All boards are finished with foodsafe oil. If needed, reapply a butcher block/cutting board oil or food grade mineral oil. Apply straight from the bottle and spread with your fingers or a paper towel. Allow to absorb for a few minutes, then buff off with a clean paper towel.
To clean your board scrap off any stuck on food, scrub thoroughly with warm water and dishwashing soap, rinse and wipe dry immediately. Allow to dry completely by placing on edge so air can get to both sides. Apply oil, if and when needed. These boards should not be soaked in water or placed in the dishwasher.
It is best to store the board standing on it's edge (unless it has feet), so that it will not collect moisture.
